1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Xuvilo website (xuvilo.com) and its tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to any part, please do not use the site.

2. Use of Xuvilo tools

Xuvilo provides a suite of business tools, including an invoice generator, quotation generator, receipt generator, business calculators, and document templates. Core tools are available without creating an account.

3. User responsibility for entered data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter into Xuvilo's tools. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all invoices, quotations, receipts, calculations, tax values, and business documents before using or sharing them. Xuvilo is not responsible for any errors resulting from incorrect data entry.

4. Business documents generated by Xuvilo

You retain full ownership of the documents you create using our tools. Xuvilo does not claim any rights to the content of your documents. Reminder: you must ensure your documents comply with the legal and tax requirements in your country before issuing them to your clients.

5. No legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice

Xuvilo does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Our tools, templates, and the content shown on the site are for general informational and operational purposes only. For important business, legal, or tax decisions, always consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

6. Accuracy disclaimer

We strive to keep our tools accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee they are error-free or fit for every jurisdiction. Calculators provide estimates based on inputs and built-in defaults, and may not reflect the latest changes in laws or rates.

7. Acceptable use

When using Xuvilo, you agree not to:

• Use the site for spam or for any illegal or fraudulent activity
• Create forged or misleading documents
• Use the service to evade tax obligations
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site
• Use automated tools to overload servers or scrape data. Using the official Xuvilo API with your own API key, as section 9 allows, is not scraping.
• Reverse-engineer the service for competitive purposes
• Resell the service or access without explicit permission

8. Account responsibility

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

9. Using the Xuvilo API

The Xuvilo API lets software you control read and change your workspace's data with an API key. By using it you agree to the following:

• API keys are secret. Keep them on your own systems, never in a web page or a public code repository. You are responsible for everything done with the API keys you create, as you are for everything done with your account.
• Stay within the limits published in the developer documentation, currently 120 requests a minute per key and 1 MB per request, and do not try to get around them, for example by spreading requests over many keys.
• Do not resell or sublicense access to the API, and do not use it for abuse, spam or anything illegal.
• We may revoke or suspend a key, or a workspace's access to the API, that is used for abuse or that puts the service or other users at risk.
• The API is versioned (/api/v1). We may change it, but a change that could break an existing integration comes with notice and in a new version, notwithstanding section 12.

10. Intellectual property

The Xuvilo website, including its design, logo, code, text, and templates, is owned by Xuvilo and its licensors. No part may be copied, redistributed, or resold without prior written permission. You may use the templates and the outputs of the tools for your own business documents, but you may not resell, redistribute, or pass off the platform itself as your own. You retain the rights to documents you create using our tools.

11. Limitation of liability

Xuvilo is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xuvilo and its team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the fees (if any) you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

12. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the site at any time without prior notice. We will not be liable to any user or third party for any modification or suspension.

13. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms, act in a way that harms the site or other users, or use the service in a way that creates risk for other users or for us.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Xuvilo operates. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in that jurisdiction.
