Singapore invoices from GST-registered businesses must be labelled "Tax Invoice" and show the supplier's GST registration number and UEN (Unique Entity Number). Payment culture is efficient: PayNow Corporate transfers settle instantly against a UEN or QR code, FAST handles 24/7 interbank transfers, and GIRO covers scheduled corporate runs — printing a PayNow QR on invoices is now standard SME practice. Terms of 30 days are the norm, and SGD invoices show GST separately; foreign-currency invoices must state the SGD equivalents of the GST and total using an approved exchange rate. English is the universal business and invoicing language.
Step 1. Open the Singapore invoice generator. Currency and tax are pre-loaded for you. Fill in your business details and logo; signed in, the company profile you save under Settings fills them in for you.
Step 2. Add your customer and your line items. Quantity, unit price and tax update the totals automatically. Switch language between Arabic & English as needed; Xuvilo flips the layout to RTL or LTR for you.
Step 3. Click "Download PDF". Your Singapore invoice is generated as a print-ready A4 file in SGD, ready to email to the client or attach to your accounting system.
Singapore applies 9% GST on most invoiced goods and services, so Xuvilo defaults the tax rate to 9% GST on the Singapore invoice. You can override the rate per line, exclude exempt items, or add multiple tax components if your business requires it.
The tax authority responsible for Singapore is Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). GST registration is compulsory when taxable turnover exceeds SGD 1 million per year — verify with IRAS, including the retrospective and prospective tests.
Singapore runs InvoiceNow, the national Peppol-based e-invoicing network operated with IMDA, and IRAS is phasing in GST InvoiceNow requirements: from late 2025 newly incorporated companies registering for GST voluntarily begin transmitting invoice data to IRAS via InvoiceNow, extending to all new voluntary GST registrants in 2026, with broader adoption signalled for existing GST businesses later — verify the current phase with IRAS. There is not yet a universal mandate for established businesses. Government suppliers are encouraged to bill agencies through InvoiceNow rather than the retiring vendor portals.
Xuvilo isn't only an invoice generator. The same business profile powers a free quotation generator for sending price quotes before a deal is signed, a free receipt generator for confirming payments after they're made, and a 859 template library for industry-specific designs. Most Singapore businesses go through quote → invoice → receipt for every project, and Xuvilo covers all three.
GST is 9%, following the two-step rise from 7% completed in January 2024. GST-registered businesses must issue tax invoices showing their GST number and the tax amount separately, while non-registered businesses must not charge or show GST at all.
IRAS is phasing GST InvoiceNow in, starting with newly incorporated companies that voluntarily register for GST from late 2025 and new voluntary registrants from 2026; existing businesses are encouraged but not yet compelled. Joining the Peppol-based network early future-proofs your invoicing — check IRAS for your category's timeline.
You may invoice in USD or any currency, but a GST tax invoice must additionally state the GST amount and invoice total in Singapore dollars, converted at an approved rate such as the bank's prevailing selling rate. Cross-border services may qualify for zero-rating as international services under Section 21(3) — confirm eligibility with IRAS.
Include your UEN and a PayNow Corporate QR code — clients can scan and settle instantly from corporate banking apps, avoiding manual entry errors. Government agencies and larger corporates also increasingly route payments through InvoiceNow-connected systems, which shortens approval cycles further.

Yes. Switch Xuvilo between Arabic (right to left) and English (left to right) at any time; each document prints in one language: Arabic when you are using Xuvilo in Arabic or have chosen an Arabic template, English otherwise; and every field accepts text in either language.
